The Role

We are seeking an exceptional Operations Manager to oversee the full spectrum of operations at Green Heart Kilifi. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for driving efficiency, ensuring smooth cross-departmental coordination and leading the team towards operational excellence. You will be instrumental in shaping and executing their long-term vision, ensuring that each department aligns with their core values and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments, directly overseeing department heads as their manager.

• Develop and monitor KPIs to ensure performance and accountability.

• Act as the primary coordination point between department heads and leadership.

• Drive operational efficiency and proactively resolve cross-functional challenges.

• Ensure full compliance with company policies and real estate regulations.

Who We’re Looking For:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader with a strong background in real estate development and operations management. The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience managing large mixed-use developments, ideally from inception to full operation.

• A broad understanding of real estate business functions, including finance, construction, marketing, and sales.

• A strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.

• Proven leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and driving operational excellence.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, real estate management, construction management, project management, or a related field – or experience in lieu of.

• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within relevant industries.

• Demonstrated experience in project management, operations and strategic planning.

• Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.

• Proficiency in technology and data-driven decision-making.

• Fluency in Swahili is a strong added advantage.
