Position Overview:

As the Reservations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in curating unforgettable experiences for guests. With a deep understanding of the region’s luxury properties and a minimum of four years of experience catering to high-net-worth clients, you will be responsible for ensuring that every aspect of the clients’ travel arrangements exceeds their expectations. Key Responsibilities:

• Utilise your in-depth knowledge of luxury properties to recommend and book accommodations, activities and experiences that align with clients’ preferences and interests.
• Engage with predominantly high-net-worth overseas and domestic travelers understanding their backgrounds, preferences, likes and dislikes, to tailor bespoke itineraries that cater to their unique requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clients via written correspondence, phone calls, and in-person interactions, providing personalised recommendations and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders including hotels, tour operators, and transport providers to ensure seamless execution of clients’ itineraries.
• Demonstrate exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple reservations simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention-to- to detail.
• Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times, representing the brand with integrity and sophistication.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients, anticipating their needs and preferences to provide personalised service that exceeds their expectations.
• Stay informed about industry trends, new luxury properties and local attractions to continuously enhance the company’s offerings and provide exceptional service to clients.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of four years’ experience in luxury travel, with a strong focus on serving an international clientele.
• In-depth knowledge of luxury properties and attractions in Kenya, particularly those appealing to high-net-worth guests
• Excellent existing relationships with high-end accommodation providers, and the desire and ability to build effective new partnerships.
• Awareness of all types of holiday accommodation – from high-end safari camps and lodges to luxury beach villas, private holiday homes, boutique hotels and other unique & special places to stay.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients, demonstrating empathy and understanding, tact, confidence and persuasiveness
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to work dynamically and collaboratively as part of a small team and also independently, demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness.
• Awareness of the commercial, financial and marketing aspects of the business
• Familiarity with reservation systems and tour operations software.
• Proficiency in transportation logistics, along with expertise in CRM software.
• Digital marketing skills and a strong focus on customer safety and satisfaction
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field is advantageous.
