The Spirit of The Masai Mara is located within the private Siana Conservancy in its own secluded valley overlooking the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve, home of the annual Great Wildebeest Migration.

They have a fantastic opportunity for a Digital and Brand Executive to join their team in Nairobi.

This is a part-time role.

Role summary

You will be responsible for setting up and managing the company’s social media strategies in creating powerful content and marketing campaigns, to engage with the targeted online audience in the right way.

KEY FUNCTIONS

  • Plan, create, publish and share new content (including original text, images, video, and code) on a daily basis that builds meaningful customer connections,
  • Increases brand awareness, and encourages community members to engage with the brand.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop social media campaigns.
  • Identify new opportunities that can be used to leverage marketing efforts.
  • Effectively represent the company and its values to all internal and external holders
  • Monitor campaign response/measure success of each campaign and make recommendations to Sales and Brand Manager and put into place agreed follow-up actions.
  • Craft outreach strategies, creating multiple press angles for different press demographics in relation to digital PR;
  • Coordinate and manage influencers in creating marketing content
  • Create and provide monthly reports in respect of the digital strategy and social media platforms.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Marketing preferably in Hospitality.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or other relevant field required
  • An Artistic Eye
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Fun and outgoing personality
