Job Summary:

 They are looking for a passionate and experienced Marketing Manager to develop and execute their strategic marketing plan.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for brand management, digital marketing, content generation, market research and enhancing customer journeys. This role involves both in-house collaboration and managing outsourced functions to ensure our marketing efforts align with our conservation and community initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the implementation of a strategic marketing plan.
  • Manage and enhance the Cottars Safaris brand.
  • Supervise digital marketing efforts, including content generation, social media growth, campaign management and engagement.
  • Conduct market research, analysis and manage internal marketing and sales analytics.
  • Support the development of client retention and referral programmes.
  • Create and distribute monthly newsletters, news flashes and other communications.
  • Improve sales conversion and customer journey experiences.
  • Manage the website and online portals.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of marketing collateral, including imagery.
  • Develop presentations for trade shows and sales trips.
  • Occasionally represent the company at trade shows and sales trips.
  • Manage and support our marketing representatives, reservations team and digital teams.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field (or experience in lieu of)
  • 4-5 years’ experience in a senior marketing management role.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, content creation and social media management.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with market research and sales analytics.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
  • Passion for conservation and community development initiatives is a distinct advantage.


Note:  This position is open to candidates who do not have luxury tourism experience and therefore candidates are welcome to apply from other industries who meet the key criteria above.
