Bioline AgroSciences, a leading provider of biological solutions for sustainable agriculture, is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented professional to join our team as a Business Development Lead for the Middle East region.
As a Business Development Lead, you will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and driving business growth in the dynamic and rapidly evolving agricultural sector.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to penetrate and expand Bioline AgroSciences’ market share in the Middle East region.
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, distributors, retailers, and government agencies.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in the region.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development, marketing campaigns, and sales strategies tailored to the Middle East market.
- Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts to enhance business opportunities and stay abreast of industry developments.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and negotiations to secure new partnerships and business contracts.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on market developments, sales activities, and revenue forecasts.
- Represent Bioline AgroSciences at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand and products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- 7 years proven track record in business development, sales, or marketing within the agricultural or related industry, preferably in the Middle East region.
- Strong understanding of the Middle East agricultural market, including key crops, farming practices, regulatory landscape, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication (English min; pref also French) and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to identify new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market research, analyse data, and translate insights into actionable business strategies.
- Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
- Willingness to travel within the Middle East region as required.
