Assistant Food and Beverages Manager - Aviation

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead, mentor and train the Food & Beverage Operations team
  • Ensure Food & Beverage relevant brand standards are maintained
  • Strategise on new products and service offerings
  • Manage all operational requirements of the unit
  • Complete all administrative and planning elements for the unit such as rostering, reporting, revenue and cost management
  • Create unforgettable experiences for our guests


  • An individual with high emotional intelligence and tactful
  • At ease while dealing with diverse cultural settings
  • Possess a professional disposition
  • Service focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience is required


  • Proven ability to build and maintain good and strategic relationships with all stakeholders
  • Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills
  • Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance
  • A willingness to adapt in an ever-changing business landscape
  • Capacity to grow into a role of greater responsibility


  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity in a 4-star environment
  • Banqueting experience for large functions is mandatory


  • Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management from a reputable institution
