Responsibilities
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Lead, mentor and train the Food & Beverage Operations team
- Ensure Food & Beverage relevant brand standards are maintained
- Strategise on new products and service offerings
- Manage all operational requirements of the unit
- Complete all administrative and planning elements for the unit such as rostering, reporting, revenue and cost management
- Create unforgettable experiences for our guests
Personality
- An individual with high emotional intelligence and tactful
- At ease while dealing with diverse cultural settings
- Possess a professional disposition
- Service focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience is required
Aptitude
- Proven ability to build and maintain good and strategic relationships with all stakeholders
- Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills
- Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance
- A willingness to adapt in an ever-changing business landscape
- Capacity to grow into a role of greater responsibility
Experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity in a 4-star environment
- Banqueting experience for large functions is mandatory
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management from a reputable institution
