<p><strong>The Hotel requires an experienced and educated Marketing and Communications Manager who will be responsible for all PR, marketing and communications roles within thehotel, focusing on strengthening the hotel’s brand and creating awareness of the product with its partners, clients and trade representatives both domestically and internationally. </strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Roles and Responsibilities</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Devises and implements a PR strategy intended to promote and protect the company brand by reaching out to key audiences including customers, suppliers, media, shareholders and local community.</li>
<li>Maintains all information and serves as the primary point of contact and leader for PR requirements pertaining to the hotel for promotion exercises, including the photo library, websites, direct mailers, video clips, media requests and press releases.</li>
<li>Creates and executes marketing campaigns in line with overall strategy as necessary in coordination with relevant departments utilising direct mail, email, web and print advertising.</li>
<li>Maintains a network of key media and industry contacts.</li>
<li>Manages the development and production process of all promotional materials for each activity with relevant agencies and assists with any other public documents to ensure consistency.</li>
<li>Stays updated with the developments in marketing, communications and retail trends worldwide; makes appropriate suggestions to the General Manager on new opportunities as they arise.</li>
<li>Strengthen and build the Hotel’s brand and ensures brand awareness is created through marketing and communication initiatives that are in line with the overall strategy and positioning of the hotel and the owning company.</li>
<li>Identifies and manages the development and execution of promotional opportunities.Guides, motivates, trains, manages and is directly responsible for the MarCom and Boutique departments.</li>
<li>Delivers the best possible results in areas of people, products and profit.</li>
<li>Develops and implements an internal communications strategy, in conjunction with Training and HR intended to ensure consistent and effective flow of information across all channels and departments.Develops an annual marketing plan in consultation with the various different areas of the hotel including sales, F&amp;B, Spa and Boutique.</li>
<li>Prepares, implements and adheres to department budget and business plan for all advertising, cooperative marketing campaigns, marketing collateral, billing administration, web manuals, and other relevant marketing tools. Drives cost effective MarCom and Boutique Sales initiatives with positive ROIs.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Qualifications and Experience</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Marketing / Communications or relevant Degree</li>
<li>Proven record of successful marketing and communications/event campaigns with excellent references.</li>
<li>Strong command of written and spoken English is a must, with an ability to work unsupervised and manage a team.</li>
<li>A minimum of five years’ experience at a similar position in managing high standards of quality and profitability, ideally in a recognised PR/Advertising firm or international chain environment within the hotel industry.</li>
<li>25-35 years, confident and extremely well presented.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><em>The incumbent must be able to obtain maximum results coming from The Hotel relationships and partnerships, constantly seek to develop new relationships, whilst strengthening old ones.  </em></strong><strong><em>As a “keeper of the outside perception,” the Marketing Communications Manager must understand the power of the brand and respect its applications.  Must understand and be familiar with operating departments; media relations, marketing campaigns, collateral development, advertising, partnerships, promotions, packages, publishing, e-marketing, communications both internal and external, brand building and has strong written and oral skills.</em></strong></p>

<p align="left">The ideal candidate must possess at least four years of working experience in a similar position at luxury hotels/lodges within East Africa or Europe.</p>
<p>The position is for 2 years (which may be extended by mutual agreement)</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Responsibilities and Duties:</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>The Executive Chef Manager is responsible for the management of the kitchen and F&amp;B staff at the Resort.  </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Train and manage kitchen personnel and supervise/coordinate all related culinary activities;</li>
<li>Estimate food consumption and requisition and plan food and beverage purchases, ensuring cost control</li>
<li>Select and develop recipes in conjunction with the owner</li>

<li> Ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance</li>

<li> Oversee special catering events and may also offer culinary instruction</li>

<p><strong>The ideal candidate must possess at least three years of working experience in a similar position within the luxury hospitality industry of a similar size (boutique hotel/lodge/camp).  </strong></p>
<p><strong>The position is for two years (which may be extended by mutual agreement). </strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Responsibilities and Duties:</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Top notch hosting of clients</li>
<li>Production and submission of weekly and monthly management reports on all aspects of running the resort to the owners.</li>
<li>Overseeing all front of house functions.</li>
<li>Responsible for procurement, administration and logistics of all resort supplies</li>

<p>Plan, organise, direct and co-ordinate the workers and resources of the restaurant for the efficient, well-prepared and profitable service of food and beverages.</p>

<li>Ensure that customer databases in the designated regions are up to date and that the customer prospecting and follow-up systems are operational with proper reporting back systems</li>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">QUALIFICATIONS</span></strong></p>

<li>Higher National Diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>A MINIMUM of fiveyears’ experiencein a Sales Administration role or any other experience with spreadsheets and finances.</li>
